I don’t know these days but just focus on doing the best Leaving Cert you can and don’t worry about the points.

It varies year by year, and depends on course and college, and whether of not you want to even take the uni/college route or a more apprenticeship route. You have so many options, but getting the best results you can gives you the space to sit back, and choose the option that suits you.

I don’t remember having any points to become engineer. If you have education, dedication and work experience, you will become engineer. This applies for anything.

It changes every year but I didn’t even use my points as I went through the UCAS and onto an English University. I agree with Stephen, that you should worry about the points. If you’re filing out the CAO, just make sure you put down course you like and then do your best to get through the exams. They’ll be over before you know it and I’m sure you’ll do great!

The points vary year to year, and from university and institute of technology. The points are all about the demand for a particular course in whatever university or institute of technology. Make sure to pick a course that suits you and most importantly you are interested in. The best thing to do is look at university and institute of technology websites and attend there open days, to speak to lecturers and students studying the course and to also have a taste of university life. 🙂 🙂 🙂 I hope this helps. 🙂
